Diamond Quinichett is the co-founder, owner, and CEO of Cornerstone Defense, bringing over a decade of experience in both education and administration to the company. With a passion for empowering individuals and fostering growth, she has built a thriving business that blends her deep expertise with her unwavering commitment to excellence.
A proud graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Diamond earned both her Master's and undergraduate degrees, laying a strong foundation for her future in leadership. Her educational background has equipped her with a unique perspective on the importance of knowledge, strategy, and efficiency, all of which are core values she instills in every aspect of her work.
Before starting Cornerstone Defense, Diamond honed her skills in various administrative roles, where she worked closely with educational teams, law enforcement, implemented safety and security systems, and provided support that drove organizational success. Her years in education further deepened her understanding of the power of learning and growth—principles that continue to inspire her approach to business today.
As a dynamic leader, Diamond is dedicated to the mission of Cornerstone Defense—creating meaningful impact while prioritizing client success and satisfaction. Paul Quinichett
Co-Founder/ Lead Consultant
With over 20 years of firearms experience and more than a decade of instructional expertise, Paul brings a wealth of knowledge and real-world training to every class. A retired Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Officer and U.S. Army combat veteran, he has honed his skills through both law enforcement and military service, including a combat tour to the Middle East.
Throughout his distinguished career, Paul served as a patrol officer and a school resource officer, gaining invaluable experience in high-stress situations. He has extensive training with handguns, rifles, and shotguns, and his background in combat and tactical environments allows him to teach with an emphasis on practical, real-life applications.
As a firearms instructor, Paul is committed to ensuring that every student not only gains technical proficiency but also develops the mindset necessary for responsible gun ownership. His focus on safety, discipline, and skill development makes him a trusted and respected instructor for individuals of all experience levels.
